Living in Touch with Innate Wisdom and Compassion - Thatʻs a Revolution!

Practicing mindfulness - awareness of the present, letting go of thinking, etc. - has many benefits, but the greatest is that it is a means to experiencing the “True Self”: innate Wisdom and Compassion. When that happens, life is transformed!

Realized upon waking up this morning that this is a pretty radical concept, and, living this way and helping others to do so is tantamount to a revolution!

The reason this is so radical is that the “normal” way of being in the majority of society is the direct opposite: depending on thinking to determine actions, and basing choices on emotions, especially desire and fear.

You could say that the path of mindfulness>experiencing True Self>living from It is a complete turnaround from the “norm” of society, which, unfortunately, is the way most people have been taught to live, and have been so conditioned and habituated to live that way that it has become unconscious and unquestioned as “the only way”!

But thereʻs value in shock and appeal to revolution! Speaking, writing, and doing music about this complete turnaround will certainly command attention because it is so radical!

And, given the many problems of contemporary life, and the ongoing unsatifactoriness that comes from not having a clear purpose or direction (or not having one that satisfies or really feels completely valid), a revolution seems necessary!

So letʻs do it - letʻs commit to it! Full-time mindfulness practice - formally and in daily life - that will lead to experiencing and living from innate Wisdom and Compassion - and turning the world on to this revolution!!
